Participation in the congress is by registration and invitation. African young people (aged 18-35 years) across the continent and in the diaspora are invited to express interest in participating in the congress as delegates or/and side event organizers by completing and submitting an online form provided below. The applications will be periodically reviewed and those who meet the selection criteria invited to register for the congress by paying the a registration fee of 100 USD. We strongly encourage all participants to strive to meet their travel costs. Churches and all able entities are strongly encouraged to support the young people’s endeavors to participate in the congress in all possible ways.
AACC Partners, members, and other organizations can also participate in the congress by running side events such as exhibitions and workshops. A maximum of 10 side events will be held daily for three days. Each side event is encouraged to financially contribute towards the congress budget.
AAYC delegates must be African youth leaders in Africa and the diaspora aged below 35 years who have demonstrated transformative leadership in their churches, affiliated civil society organisations, communities and countries.
Side events are onsite activities held at the congress outside the main plenary session. The side events wholesomely contribute to the overall congress goals. They can be inform of workshops, exhibitions, and shows. A maximum of 10 side events on the various congress subthemes will be held per day.
